Rain in AP

Hyderabad, Jul 23 : Rain occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema regions of the state,Sirpur (Adilabad district) recorded a heavy rainfall of 7 cm, Met department said today.The other chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm are Mudhol (Adilabad district) 6, Palasa (Srikakulam district) 5, Parvathipuram (Vizianagaram district) 4, Ichapuram, Mandasa and Ranasthalam (all Srikakulam district) 3 each, Araku Valley (Visakhapatnam district), Mahabubabad (Warangal district) and Yellandu (Khammam district) 2 each and Achampet, Kalwakurthy and Nagarkurnool (all Mahabubnagar district), Dummagudem (Khammam district), Metpalli (Karimnagar district), Narayanakhed (Medak district), Narsampet (Warangal district), Navipet (Nizamabad district), Nirmal (Adilabad district), Paleru Bridge (Krishna district), Pulivendala (Cuddapah district) and Tanuku (West Godavari district) one each.Light to moderate rain/thundershowers may occur at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Isolated rain or thundershowers would occur over Rayalaseema.Sky condition would be generally cloudy. One or two spells of rain/thundershowers may occur in parts of city. Maximum and Minimum temperatures would be around 31 and 23 degrees Celsius respectively.
