AAP hopeful of increase in popularity graph,

28,jan,(DSS)LUCKNOW: Despite recent criticism over Arvind Kejriwal's nightlong demonstration, ministerSomnath Bharti controversy and expelled member Vinod Kumar Binny spilling the beans, Aam Admi Party is looking forward to an increase in its popularity graph. "AAP was seen getting 18 % vote share in different poll surveys when the candidates were not even finalised. Once, we declare candidates, the percentage would further increase," Sanjay Singh, spokesperson and member political affairs committee told reporters in Lucknow here on Monday. Singh is in UP to hold several public meetings in Amethi where AAP member Kumar Vishwas is expected to contest elections against congress party icon Rahul Gandhi. Singh also announced that AAP would release its list of Lok Sabha 2014 candidates in the second week of February. He stated that the party was willing to field candidates on 300-odd seats across the country. And in UP, the party wants to field a candidate on all 80 lok sabha seats. The leader however clarified that in case the party was not able to find a suitable candidate, it would abstain from fielding anyone. Party office bearers stated that screening committees have been formed at zonal and state level to check the credentials of all those who have applied to contest election. The zonal team would choose some names and the final selection would be done by the political affairs committee.
