Andhra Pradesh CM thanks Prez for her concern towards State

Hyderabad, Jul 5 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah today thanked President Pratibha Patil for the concern and consideration she was showing towards the state.Dr Rosaiah also thanked her for bringing a Special Cake on the occasion of his 78th birthday yesterday. ''It was very kind of Her Excellency, President Pratibha Patil, to bring me a cake for my birthday. I have no words to express my gratitude to her for this kind gesture.I regard it as a special honour for me and will remember it forever", he told newspersons.Birthdays will come and go. But such a kind gesture from the President is a special moment in my life", he said.Mr Rosaiah also thanked Ms Patil on behalf of the state government for accepting the invitation and inaugurating the fifth centennial celebrations of Sri Krishnadevaraya's coronation at short notice.He also thanked the President for showing keen interest in agricultural operations and different welfare schemes for farmers in the state. State Agriculture Minister N Raghuveera Reddy and Agriculture Technology Mission Deputy Chairman and Adviser to state government D A Somayajulu briefed the President about various measures initiated by the state government for boosting agricultural production and towards farmers' welfare since 2004.Dr Rosaiah said the President had always shown special care for Andhra Pradesh. ============================================
