Supreme Court Judges Appointed,

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Shri Justice Hemant Laxman Gokhale, Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, (2) Smt. Justice Gyan Sudha Misra, Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, and (3) Shri Justice Anil Ramesh Dave, Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court in that order of seniority, to be the Judges of the Supreme Court of India with effect from the dates they assume charge of their offices. =======================================================
